After 5 years...

YES!

It is OFFICIAL. After 5 long years (I really felt i was a long long journey for me) of studying as an Accountancy student in FEU, I am finally graduating with a latin honor as a bonus. :)

I really can't explain how I feel. I am beyond happy. It is really an achievement for me. It has been my goal ever since - to finish my studies with an honor. A goal that I know would make my parents proud. And what makes this so special to me is also because, I had doubts regarding my honor when I lost my academic scholarship and wasn't able to maintain it after that,  and doubts about graduating because of my Tax subject.

My 5-yr road in FEU
During our recollection, we were asked to draw the road we took when we were in FEU as a student, and as the photo above shows, that was how I draw my 5-year road. For me, I had took a straight road from the gates of FEU to PICC where we will have our graduation, and I just had the other years of my life to be on the side of that road. But those stones showed my struggles throughout the years. I started with a foo prints from my firs year to second year, then on my third year o fourth year I started to have hand prints together with my foot prints for now I am experiencing the feeling of crawling because of what I had been doing, and for my last year, I am now lying and just trying to crawl like a worm because of how hard my last two semesters were to me. (and just like what my friends said, even in my drawing I am still corny)

During AudProb Finals. My FINAL exam in FEU.

I have experienced a lot of new things during my college years, though I know that those may not be as much as what others may have experienced, but for me it was enough to make me who I am now and enough to make me feel special and blessed after all. I gained and lost friends but I got to retain more. I experienced to be rejected and to feel lost when on the release of the unofficial list of qualifying exam passers I wasn't part of it. To feel the happiness when someone told me that for the official list, I was there. To be part of JPIA, and I must say this experience is one of my most treasured experience of all. No regrets.

Graduation photoshoot BTS.

Now, in two months time, I will be facing another, yet exciting chapter in my life. For 5 months, I think, I will be preparing for the CPA Board Exam. And if I made it this far after 5 years, I know I can do it this 5 months. :)
