I am now on my FOURTH YEAR in college and I might as well call it my SENIOR year, but I am enrolled in a 5-year course so I would probably settle for a PRE-SENIOR YEAR! Haha. Yes, I am quiet excited yet nervous because once again it'll be a total jam-packed year for me.

So, here's what my 1st semester schedule looks like:

and here is the schedule of all the 4th year BSA students this FY: 12-13 1st semester.

My 1st Birthday - The SURPRISES!

May 9, 2012

The first surprise happened!

I wasn't expecting surprises from the people who gave THE SURPRISE. They were my NSTP Family - Jan, Iya, Maan, Zey and Kuya Paul. We had an appointment in the afternoon after school to go to our respective establishments, the Venice Water Station and Dr. A. Albert Elementary School for some picture taking to complete our requirements for NSTP Community Immersion Project. We left school at around 4pm and we still hadn't had our lunch. So I was thinking treating them for some food to eat but I lost the opportunity.

So, we held the Surprise Party at Iya's House and I was really surprised. They were such a good actor and actresses. I mean, they did a lot of acting out there just so I won't notice their plan, and I must say I really did not notice nor get a hint of what will happen. And it was a bit tiresome yet fun afternoon for all of us. :))

Here's what the door says! :)

Here's their treat for me. :))
(don't be fooled by the bottle of Sprite over there, it's just water :P)

It's Kuya Paul who took the pictures of us eating ice cream. :)
I mad a gif of it in GifBoom.

My 1st birthday. ☺

May 9, 1993, the day that I was born. Clearly, this year wasn't my first birthday but my 19th birthday, so the 1st was not meant for my age but for the day itself.

I was born in the month wherein, technically speaking, students in the Philippines are still in the midst of enjoying their summer vacation. For 18 years, I never got to experience celebrating my birthday in school. I am also not the type of a celebrant that opens a birthday party to my friends (just relatives). So, this year is quiet new to me.

Summer of 2012, before going to the so-called fourth year of my college life, we are required to attend summer classes under NSTP 1, 2 and Humanities. And because of that, and the fact that my birthday falls on a weekday, my first ever experience of celebrating my birthday in school happened. That is why I call this as my first birthday.

I experienced a lot of firsts. First to have a lot of personal greetings. Those from my close friends, my blockmates, my co-officers, the faculty members, and to those that, you know, just wanted to greet me. Yes, I do receive gifts during my birthday but not as many as this year. And the most unforgettable thing was that, it was also my first time to be surprised not once, nor twice, but thrice! Haha well, I might also consider the 1st one a surprise too.

Let's start chronological order. :)

Couz's (Rissa Anne S. Vizconde) birthday gift for me. ^____^

Nay Kaori's (Kaori Kaye Manga) birthday present for me.
This is what I might consider my first surprise.

So, the reason I might consider that as a surprise was because it was in my locker!! Haha, well, actually she asked for my locker's code so I was kinda expecting something already but when she asked me to bring anything that will prove that it was my birthday, I was left there curious. So her gift for me was composed of:

12 stitch keychains for E R E M A E  N I C O L E .

\
Used my passport to claim the IT'S MY BIRTHDAY
for a wintermelon milk tea w/ pearls.
I also left a message for you nay @kaorikaye ^^,

(to be continued . . .)

STRINGS are not for lovers only!

Red strings of fate. No strings attached. Whatever. They all portray to a relationship between a boy and a girl. Between lovers. Strings attached means commitment. But, I say, strings are not for lovers only. Even friends have too.

Having strings connected to a number of people you call friends doesn't literally mean you have to commit yourself to them (entirely). It will be hard. Really. But those strings represent the special bond you have towards your friends. That bond that will keep your friendship stronger despite every circumstances that will come your way.

Just like what the text says:

"FRIENDSHIP is not about being together everyday or texting every minute. You just have to trust your friends in a way that they won't forget the friendship you have while you're not together."

I, myself, had experienced so many trials proving how strong my friendship with others was. There came a time wherein I just gave up, and turned by back at them because it was really hard for me to redeem what we had. But, those didn't make anything better. It just got worst. Worst. Worst. And so I learned that in every friendship, one must keep holding on to make it last longer. Guess, in every relationship, that is a given cliché

Despite the so-called experiences and trials I had, I am still an amateur when it comes to this issue. Different people. Different opinions. Different problems. It is always NEW! Yet, learning new different things is the inevitable opportunity we can get through this.

OK, actually I had already posted this in my Tumblr account before. Something came up at that time then poof! this thought crossed my mind. The reason was totally uncertain and I cannot actually recall what was it, but I just wanted to share this here in my blog.

And who among us haven't experienced making a friend issue a great deal in our life? I guess it is in our generation, in my generation, that people do really get attached to their peers more than they could possibly think of.

My FIRST blogspot!

Oh hi there people. :)

Yes, this is my first time to do a blogspot account. It seems so ironic to say that I am since I found myself to be a frustrated blogger, but that was because I had spent those blogging moments in Tumblr. Actually my friend told me that posting in here isn't that complicated, but I guess it's for me to find out. I spent almost 3 hours in just creating my blog space itself. I am having a hard time figuring out how all of these works, but I know I can!

Anyhow, I may be posting the same blog post here and in my tumblr-blog account (which is btw http://emaenix.tumblr.com/ mind following?). And I am also thinking of posting my past posts there. I dunno. We'll see.

For the meantime, I hope I'll get to know more bloggers in here, not just those great and wonderful bloggers but also those I can share my thoughts with and be friends with. :)

So, that's all for now. I may just introduce my name to you all for my closing remarks.

I am EREMAE NICOLE A. RAMOS. Thank you. :)
